Meet Melissa Kramer, PTA
Melissa Kramer is a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Maryland. In 2001 Melissa graduated from Alvernia College in Reading, PA with distinction and an associate’s degree in physical therapy. A year after beginning her career, Melissa moved to the DC Metro area where she worked at National Rehabilitation Hospital for 3 years before deciding to practice in private outpatient clinics. Melissa has been a PTA at Quince Orchard Medical Center for over 12 years. In addition to being a physical therapist assistant, Melissa is also the office manager at QOMC.
Melissa has primarily treated orthopedic patients; however, she also has experience working in aquatic therapy, lymphedema management, cancer rehabilitation, breast cancer rehabilitation, spinal cord rehabilitation, work reintegration, body mechanics training/back education training and sports medicine. At Quince Orchard Medical Center Melissa specializes in treating post-operative knee disorders, sports and running injuries, scoliosis, chronic low back pain, body mechanics training and education and ergonomics training. Melissa is passionate about providing the best possible care and customer service to all her patients. She has especially enjoyed working at Quince Orchard Medical Center because of the one-to-one patient care she is able to provide and other treatment options she can offer her patients that come with working within a multispecialty integrative practice.
As an individual, Melissa continues to be committed to leading a healthy, active lifestyle and encourages her patients to do the same. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending quality time with her family.
